ICDL Ireland held first in person meeting with ATCs

On 24 June 2022, ICDL Ireland held the first in person get together since the start of the pandemic. We had a great turn out from ATCs based in each corner of Ireland.

ICDL Ireland were pleased to meet in person with ATCs, share updates and news from ICDL and importantly to hear from you about delivering your courses.

ICDL Ireland had plenty of news to share with those attending, including the announcement of a new module coming soon: E-Commerce. Find out more and view the syllabus for this module here.

A further new module, Computer and Online Essentials will also be launching this autumn. Find out more on the webpage here.

Attendees were also reminded of the changes to module names that happened over the past year. Word Processing became Documents, Web Editing became Websites and Advanced Spreadsheets was replaced by Management Spreadsheets and Financial Spreadsheets.

Coordinators and Testers were encouraged to visit the Useful Downloads section of ICDL Connect to access a range of useful forms and materials to help deliver and promote their courses. The ATC logo is also there for use on centres’ websites and in their own course marketing materials.

Be sure to follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter and post your stories and learners’ achievements so we can share them with the global ICDL community.

The next event will be held in the autumn. Those on the waitlist and those who could not attend this event will be invited first. Keep an eye on your emails and the ATC newsletter to book your place and feel free to invite a colleague along if they are also involved in delivering ICDL.
